The Centre Was Established in 1979 through tremendous community effort and fund-raising to meet the needs of the area. The initiative, effort and drive invested in those early days has helped develop Summerhill Community Centre into the thriving facility it is today.


The Centre is run by a voluntary committee which is nominated at each annual general meeting.

Free Hall & Lounge available for Adult party's - 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th etc.. plus Weddings, Christenings, Funerals etc.

Zumba Dance/Excercise classes in main hall every Monday night from 8.30pm. Come along, get fit and enjoy the crack.

Model Car Racing on 27th Feb from 11am to 4pm and most alternate Sundays. Please contact office for further details.

Art Classes on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm in the old kitchen. All budding artists welcome.

Book Club meet in the lounge on last Wednesday of each month.


Newly Built Bowls room, with Lift for easy access

The Committee of Summerhill Community Centre are delighted to announce that our new state of the art Bowls room is complete. With equisite design and accessibility, it can be used for many purposes.
